It’s been a long, and crazy, past 6 months. The time has just seemed to fly by since moving to Hong Kong. It took me a good 2-3 months to get settled into this new lifestyle and used to having a full-time job, and I can’t believe there’s only 3 months left of my current contract.
My time abroad and travel blogging has been such a positive experience. Or at least a learning experience during the not-so positive times.
I originally started blogging (on Tumblr of all places) as a way to keep my friends and family updated on my life abroad. And now to have over 1,000 people monthly, from over 100 different countries, reading my blog is just amazing.
It’s so great to wake up after posting something the night before, and being able to see the impact it’s making. The likes, the comments, the retweets, the new subscribers. Without your support and involvement, this wouldn’t be nearly as successful.
And for that, I thank you.
Besudesu Abroad was launched September 28th, 2012.
Since then we have:
- had over 1,000 people visiting monthly from 106 different countries.
- been increasing our sponsors and partners
- published 87 travel articles, guides and photos
- been featured in interviews on A Dangerous Business and You Can Teach English
- acquired a Google Page Rank of 3! (something that often takes bloggers 1 year+ to do)
Where Have I Been?
In these past 6 months I’ve been lucky enough to travel to:
- Hong Kong
And have also planned future travel to:

Search Engine Terms
Here are some of the most popular search engine terms that brought people to my site. Some of them were a bit funny, I bet some people were thoroughly disappointed when they were directed to my site!
